Senior Vice President, Global Delivery Operations – Revenue Cycle & BPO

This is a true operator's seat, not an oversight role. You'll own the delivery of revenue cycle and BPO services across the full client base and lead a global delivery organization. If you've personally run delivery rather than managed a vendor who did, and you hold both your teams and your clients accountable to a plan, this is a rare opportunity to own the operating engine of an established, high-growth RCM company.

About the Company

This company is an established revenue cycle management firm with more than two decades of outcomes-focused delivery and billions in revenue under management. Their services span revenue cycle management, medical coding, prior authorization, denials management, business process outsourcing, and revenue cycle automation, delivered through a Global Capability Center (GCC) model and an AI platform combining machine learning, intelligent automation, and interoperability.

Clients include hospitals, large health systems, and physician groups, spanning care settings such as:

  • Inpatient care facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH)
  • Ambulatory surgery centers (ASC) and freestanding emergency rooms
  • Skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and home health care
  • Family practice, hospitalist, and urgent care

About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Global Delivery Operations – Revenue Cycle & BPO is responsible for the overall delivery of revenue cycle and BPO services across the client base, including the company's AI technology and its Global Capability Center operations. This is an operating role with full P&L responsibility for services, direct and dotted-line leadership of a global delivery team, and a rapidly scaling U.S. footprint. The ideal candidate has personally managed global delivery operations, builds and runs processes rather than firefighting problems individually, and can translate a client commitment into the staffing, workforce planning, and accountability structures required to deliver it. Maintaining and improving an already industry-leading client retention rate is the defining measure of success in this seat.

Location: Nashville, TN, Houston, Dallas, or Chicago preferred. Must reside within close proximity to a major airport.  This is a remote role and we are considering other locations as well.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the overall delivery of revenue cycle and BPO services, including client communications, service level achievement, and P&L responsibility
  • Lead and scale the global delivery organization
  • Manage and improve key performance indicators including DSO, A/R greater than 90 days, and technology delivery
  • Present a detailed plan for improved service delivery across the current client base within the first 30 days, and an updated plan at the start of each quarter
  • Build and run workforce planning and workforce management processes that support delivery at scale
  • Define the team and budget required to deliver the service properly, rather than managing only what exists today
  • Serve as subject matter expert across medical coding, prior authorization, and back-end revenue cycle management
  • Orchestrate development priorities within the AI platform to support world-class RCM delivery
  • Lead daily and weekly operations meetings, holding internal teams and clients accountable to execution
  • Lead product demonstrations and solution presentations with clients
  • Maintain deep working knowledge of issues facing ambulatory practices, hospitals, and health systems as they relate to revenue cycle services
  • Own responsibility for client receivable payments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; engineering or technical degree preferred
  • 10+ years of healthcare revenue cycle operations leadership experience, including direct responsibility for delivery execution
  • Demonstrated experience personally managing offshore BPO or Global Capability Center operations at scale, operationally rather than contractually
  • Proven leadership of inpatient and/or ambulatory revenue cycle delivery, with the ability to speak credibly to where your expertise sits
  • Track record of building workforce planning, workforce management, and performance accountability processes
  • Strong command of revenue cycle KPIs and the operating levers behind them
  • Ability to speak credibly to a broader technology vision, not only headcount management
  • Executive presence with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and performance discipline across teams
  • Ability to travel 3 to 4 days per week with limited notice
